Spiritual Leadership

This book is as a result of my humble reflections over the 18 years or so of my Leadership Coaching Journey. I have been looking for a compelling reason for leadership that is driven by compassion and respect for others, even when they have made big mistakes. I have also been looking for what Christians can use to stay anchored in serving God while also ‘fitting in’ in social and professional circles.
My questions:
1. Who am I as I stand with this privilege and advantage of formal authority?
2. Who is the person standing in front of me that I have to lead and manage?
These questions have become important over the years as I see more and more people ‘not having a choice’ in the workplace but to conform to the culture of high performance which over the years has been treated as a synonym for ‘numbers’ first, instead of ‘numbers with people’.
I have found countless references in the Bible that have helped answer these two critical questions. In this book Spiritual Leadership I am talking especially to those leaders who are Christians. My wish is that you find guidance in the different parts of this book, and that it opens up the Bible more for your reference. We live one life. Our jobs provide opportunities for us to serve God. This alignment will allow true celebration of success that comes with clarity of how to serve our purpose.
